What is cloud-based software?

Cloud-based software is known as Software as a Service (SaaS). It simply means some programs and applications are stored in cloud and to access such service or software programs, users must need an internet connection.

Ex: Outlook.com, Google Docs, Microsoft office 365, Google drive.
